Brittany Redman MA LPC (she/her)

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE & CLINICAL MENTAL HEALTH CONSULTANT

Brit is a licensed therapist and a seasoned research consultant. When she isn't analyzing data, she primarily focuses her time on being a mom herself, while guiding parents on their journey to support their own children. She offers a trauma informed approach with a neuroscience lens, and strongly believes in the benefits of embracing one’s authenticity. Her passion and training lies in neuroscience, including brain development, brain and body connection, and how trauma impacts development, the nervous system, and perception. Brit has received extensive training on brain development and parent-child interactions that impact learning and attachment, as well as complex and multigenerational trauma. She has delivered training programs for caregivers to enhance communication skills, promote positive parenting skills, and prevent child maltreatment. Brittany received a Master’s in International Disaster Psychology from Denver University. She has worked on research projects examining cross-cultural interpretations of trauma with the goal of making trauma-informed treatment more widely available to affected populations across contexts. She has also delivered psychosocial services for survivors of political violence and torture. Birt specializes in qualitative and narrative research methods.
